Research Focus: Data-driven fault detection of electric motors in electric vehicles
Industry Focus: Electric Mobility

Arta Mohammad-Alikhani received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran, in 2015 and 2018 respectively. After completing his studies, he worked as a researcher in motor control for electric vehicles at the Advanced Automotive Technology Research and Development Company in Tehran. During this time, he gained valuable experience developing advanced technologies for electric vehicles. In May 2023, Arta joined McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, as a Ph.D. student in electrical engineering. His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence to power engineering. Currently, he is developing data-driven fault detection systems for electric motors in electric vehicles using machine learning techniques.
