Moien Masoumi received his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Tabriz University, Iran, in 2014, and his Master of Science from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Iran, in 2017. For his master’s thesis, he worked on the design, analysis, and prototyping of a new PM-assisted switched reluctance motor (SRM). He joined the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) in January 2021, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at McMaster University, under the supervision of Dr. Berker Bilgin. His research interests include design, electromagnetic analysis, and vibroacoustic characterization of electric machines.
April 22, 2025: McMaster Welcomes Japanese Ambassador for Visit to Automotive Resource Centre
On April 16th, McMaster University had the honour of welcoming His Excellency Kanji Yamanouchi, Japan’s Ambassador to Canada, along with Mr. Ryutaro Ishii, Counsellor at the Embassy of Japan, and Mr. Yasutsugu Tamura, First Secretary for Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation.
