Nathan Emery received his B.Sc. in physics from the University of Richmond, Virginia, in 2019. After that, he joined Dr. Ali Emadi’s research team at the McMaster Automotive Resource Center (MARC), to pursue his M.A.Sc. in mechanical engineering, at McMaster University. His research interests include NVH modelling and reduction, for permanent magnet and switched reluctance machines. His research also includes the design of permanent magnet and switched reluctance machines, for hybrid and electric vehicle applications.
