Yulei Wang received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) in 2019 and his M.S. from Chongqing University (CQU) in 2023. From September 2023 to January 2024, he was a research assistant in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at McMaster University under the supervision of Dr. Ali Emadi at the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC). His research interests include high-power converters and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and compatibility (EMC) for aerospace and industrial applications.

On April 16th, McMaster University had the honour of welcoming His Excellency Kanji Yamanouchi, Japan’s Ambassador to Canada, along with Mr. Ryutaro Ishii, Counsellor at the Embassy of Japan, and Mr. Yasutsugu Tamura, First Secretary for Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation.
